Born and raised in Portland, Judah has a particular fondness for the uniqueness of the Pacific Northwest as well as the Orthodox Church. He takes great joy in serving in the altar at Holy Resurrection Mission in Salem, as well as chanting at other parishes. While also a lover of graphic novels, retro video games, and all things Lego, the biggest love in his life is music of all sorts of genres, from classical to bluegrass and everything outside and in between. He will be starting at Portland State University in the fall to eventually get a degree in Music Composition, with a Spring term starting this January through Hellenic College’s Semester of Faith. He is excited to be a staff member this year, and cannot wait to help others grow in their faith!

Besides 4 amazing years at the University of Oregon, Michael has lived his entire life in Portland, OR and enjoys hiking in the Columbia River Gorge. He’s a proud Greek-American and keeps in touch with his culture by being involved in traditional Greek Folk Dancing (he currently instructs the high school group, Meraki, at Holy Trinity in PDX!) When Michael is not spending time with his family, or working, you can find him playing soccer, board games, or video games with friends. Michael can’t wait for camp this year, especially as he works on defending his 3 consecutive cabin-cleanup titles
